Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Vs Leven

Finished 3-1 to East Fife with Ross Campbell scoring a hat-trick. Credit to Ross, he was everywhere tonight and 3 decent finishes. Was it a perfect 3? Header, left and right foot?

Impressed with Scott Smith at left back. Up and down the wing. Great left foot. Talked to the youngsters all the way through.

Leven done alright. Passed the ball about. Worthwhile Workout.

Re: Vs Leven

Any idea what the fife line up was?

Re: Vs Leven

what was the line-up? Campbell should do alright at this level and add to the strikers we do have, alex keddie would be great back-up centre back signing if moyes or campbell does get injured but the real test start on saturday! bring on the Brides

Re: Vs Leven

Line up was:

Rooney
Wooley Moyes Naysmith Smith
Brown Barr
Cook Fash Beaton
Campbell

Second half we changed it a bit and went like this with a 4-4-2...

Rooney
Wooley Barr Naysmith Smith
Maskrey Beaton Brown Honeyman
Fash Campbell.

Leven looked pretty decent and didn't look terribly out of depth first half. Second half was really one way traffic minus their goal. Standouts for me were Scott Smith, Lewis Barr and Ross Campbell who took all three goals well.

Re: Vs Leven

Hey you boat

Who the f is Alex kiddie?

Re: Vs Leven

One word:

Ross Brown

Re: Vs Leven

That\'s two words !!

Re: Vs Leven

Ross Brown, Lewis Barr and Fash were the standouts for me, also prefer Dylan in goals, than Alan Fleming

Re: Vs Leven

Agree, Ross Brown, Lewis Barr & Fash all played well, also Scott Smith fitting in well. Should have scored more goals with all the possession EF had. Looking forward to Saturday now!!
