Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Clown maybe a bit harsh but he was Murrays puppet on a string.
Look at the stats.
Murray comes in, fills the fan base full of shit,fan base falls for shit, club get relegated.
All this talk about hotel,club shop,3g pitch all bullshit and majority fell for the fantasy talk of a dreamer.
This club have regressed at an alarming rate and no further forward since Brown the clown was at the helm.
Different decade, different clown, same old shite.
The club is stagnant and dying a slow death.
Fan ownership with a hardcore averaging 300-400 max is a pipe dream but has to be a better option than allowing the likes of Murray and co to destroy the foundations of the club whilst fulfilling a wet dream. I'd be interested in this.

Don't believe the hype. Murray is no better off than many of us. He just took a huge gamble and it was never going to pay off under the current ownership.
With the greatest of respect majority of Murray lovers are extremely gullible.

Met Alex Hamilton. Nice guy,lots of energy but a dreamer.

This club needs people who understand it. Who love it and care for its future. Guys who want to see the bottom line break even. Not guys like Hamilton. He was never an East Fife man.

Fan ownership with our fan base would definitely be a hard task but definitely not an impossible one.

With fan ownership a transparency would come that we have never seen before and with that, hopefully the return of many supporters who had given up. It's not an impossible dream!!
