Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Kelty Hearts

Just noticed Kelty Hearts Tweeting that we're playing them tonight in a friendly.
Is this a behind closed doors game?

Re: Kelty Hearts

I would think it's available to go to should you wish.

Re: Kelty Hearts

Think I'll take a walk along to see who's in the team.

Re: Kelty Hearts

Ht- 0-1 ffs

Re: Kelty Hearts

2-2 full time. Ex Fifer Craig OReilly got their equaliser !

Re: Kelty Hearts

Who scored for East Fife?

Re: Kelty Hearts

Kevin Smith got both

Re: Kelty Hearts

What was the team and any trialists?

Re: Kelty Hearts

We've stopped the rot then

Re: Kelty Hearts

Team against Kelty:
Rooney

Trialist-short but fast and put in a good shift
Moyes
Smith
Beaton

Mcaleer
Trialist -no better than we have already
K. Smith
Cook

Campbell
Mask rey

Subs who came on: Brown, Barr, Mullen, Falconer for Beaton, Moyes, Mcaleer and Campbell
Cook also came off. He and Moyes seemed to have knocks. Finished with 10 men.

Re: Kelty Hearts

Entertaining game. Some good passing football played by both sides in spells. To be honest Kelty Hearts (top of their league) are no mugs and could have won the game. Loads of chances created by both. EF hit the bar and came close after some guid moves.
The entry price was no bad aswell.....Free!

Re: Kelty Hearts

Does anyone know who the trialists are

Re: Kelty Hearts

It's a bit scary that we can't even beat a junior team. That says a lot for our manager. Was at game on Saturday and looks like the team aint playing for him already. The future looks bleak. But i will still be supporting them through this dark period.

Re: Kelty Hearts

Must win game for manager on Saturday. No more excuses. The only problem is we don't have cash to appoint an experienced manager.
