Away From The Numbers
All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.
The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.
This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.
Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

You are right. We seem to be being set up here. When Lee came in last year he was upfront about rescuing us from Rankine. Now this board takes 3 weeks or more to announce their bid. There has been resignations Eugene, Lee and hamilton then an approach to the trust to bid in opposition to another (unnamed to the trust?). Something fishy has been going on and it may be opportune to find out before committing ourselves to buy the shares.
I hope the trust are now in discussion with the board and asking WTF is going on. Both groups are opposed to the major shareholders so should get together to defeat them and not let them set us up to be in opposition to each other
Naw, the trust haven't a scooby what's going on. Why don't you get involved JJ, as they obviously need your intuitive advice.

Merely pointing out the irony of "Ringo" making a point about anonymous keyboard warriors.
For me it matters more what is said rather than who says it.
When the sun rises over the Caspian Sea, it'll be a new day and we can get back to discussing what's best for the future of OUR club rather than fighting between ourselves.

In addition, you are pointing fingers at real people in the board and Trust when you criticise them collectively. You target shareholders by name and I do not doubt you would not hold back naming anybody if it helped your argument. I may be anonymous, but I only criticise others who are anonymous and do not criticise anybody by name, or by being known as members of the board or Trust.If you name names, then you should also use your own name when you do that. I made a statement on what I perceive to be the poor financial health of the club - you asked me to explain this which I tried to do. You disagreed (fair enough) but declined to respond when I asked you why you felt all was good on the financial front?
At no point have I accused you of harming the club. On the other hand you have made suggestions that my statements do harm. In my opinion, neither of us have any power or influence to say anything that harms the club - we're just not that important.
