Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Club shop

Anyone else disappointed with the club shop? There is hardly anything there, which seems crazy if the club want to make money.
I thought we would have under armour stuff but there is nothing at all.

The problem is cash flow, under armour want all the cash up front for their goods. I think we will have enough things that need paying ie wages, buses and the up keep of Bayview. With winter setting in we could go a few weeks without a home game. This is why I urge everyone who can afford to go to the game tomorrow please grit your teeth and pay the £20, as this could give the current board some much needed cash to get us through the winter.

fan 67. I agree with your sentiment but given it's a cup tie and the gate is split, it is far more beneficial for fans to attend a league game, buy a 50/50 ticket etc.

That's because the club shop is still selling last season's kit and the MF14 tops are also sold, near the area where you pay facing the door, it's to extend awareness of my and the young fans' ultras group I think.
