Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

It will only happen if he resigns. The present financial constraints at the Club will prevent them from sacking him and paying out the rest of his contract.

His record as manager is horrible. Sadly we are not in a position to replace him and if it hadn't been for the turmoil off the field he would have been punted by now. Shame as well as I was delighted he got the job but it's not working out for him.

Why am I not surprised by you're response? I have backed club for 32 years. Next you will be telling me I can't come on a public forum and voice my concern about the club. If you are a board member can I just say well done, you guys are doing a fantastic job. Edited to add: Why do board want takeover now and not before supporters showed an interest? It's all a bit fucked up don't you think?

Last time I had a blazer on was at Kirkland HS. Last time I had a suit on was at a funeral. I'm a jeans and t-shirt type at all other times, apart from wearing my East Fife top at games.

Look guys, you simply just have to accept that I disagree with your pish!. Not everybody gets upset because QP beat us. QP showed at Bayview they were a decent side and we are struggling with injuries to key players. It wasn't a total surprise that we got beat. Live with it. Get down to Bayview and help the players with vocal support, instead of vocal criticisms at every misplaced pass. You'll feel better for it, I promise. Get rid of that angry head. It is getting angry at losing games, that is making you post your shite!

Well said. Out of all the teams I have seen this year queens park are by far the best passing team. People need to get behind the team and the manager.

Same shit year on year. Sack this sack that, we are shit, everyone else is to blame. Players don't fight for the shirt, why is our strip not ..... Terracing give us it, who's nicked the fortunes the club must have amassed..... Manager must go. No zip it and give him until the end of the year. I mean who is going to be our saviour... There is no manager, sugar daddy or anyone else sitting waiting. Gary must stay is my view.
