Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Albion Rovers Game Off

At least this might give us another week to get some players added and grab some vital points.

Re: Albion Rovers Game Off

Could also be a potential 8 points behind Berwick. Imagine Naysmith having to attack teams for valuable points.

At least the Elgin game is off. To be honest I am more concerned about the teams below us than above.

Summer football please! It will happen eventually.

4th place is pie in the sky, I would take 9th now if offered.

If it came down to a relegation scrap I would fear the worst. Naysmith and Anderson worry far to much about the opposition. Attacking football is the way forward in this league. Most teams should be able to take points from each other, so home games are very important.
Unfortunately them two in the dugout would rather try and contain teams and nick a point. Far what I have seen we are easily the most negative team in the league. Sums up Naysmith that we have signed yet another defender.
Lack of chances and lack of fire power are going to cost us dearly I fear.

Re: Albion Rovers Game Off

totally agree tron,it really annoys me when you read naysmith in
the courier sayin they set the team up to cope wi queens park ffs,
that's what you expect from a team who whos been promoted,
we were relegated for Christ sake and still fear the opposition,
the shambles of a management team have us lookin below us in the league now
instead of teams above.
we can only hope we manage to avoid the bottom spot and punt these two an bring in someone new.
you win games by attacking and scoring goals, naysmith and co would get football stopped.
