Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Bin or Keep next season?

This is who i'll keep but who would you keep or bin for next season?

Keep:

Sean Dickson - His arrival is something we needed in January with Stenny getting rid of him then its our gain we have a talent player.
Ross Brown - Played everywhere part from striker/goalkeeper suggest he still a top player we brought through the academy.
Kevin Smith - Has scored some important goals when fit, his injuries have kept him out still a good player at this level.
Nathan Austin (Fash) - Young player been good from bench, his game is improving and deserves another crack if we are at this level next season to go one better and get the club promoted.
Allan Walker - Even though he had some critic's on him after the arbroath game where we lost badly, he has chipped in with goals and very important player in heart of midfield.
Steven Campbell - like Allan he still a important player in our squad, puts the effort in as always.

Maybe:
Lewis Barr - like brown is a prospect for the future but overlooked at times.
Fraser Mullen - Has a good game then some bad games.
Julen Extrabugen - Dunno where he'll be after the summer, lucky to have him.
Derek Riordan - like Julen its weather he'll stay next season.

Bin:
Scott Smith - had a good first half but hasn't got back to the same level since he was injured and suggest why the manager gets a game at left back says it all.
David Maskrey - not ready.
Daryl Falconer - not ready.
Dylan Honeyman - not ready.
Jon McShane - move away to be closer to home, been a disappointing signing.
Jamie Beaton - Will we see him back.
Ewan Moyes - better off elsewhere. Sent off on montrose debut says it all.
Ross Campbell - worst signing imo looks good for montrose.
Caolan MacAleer - not seen enough from him and injuries have hit him this season, might have been harsh on the laddie.
Alan Cook - not seen enough this season.
Allan Fleming - bombscare but have him as back-up though.

Loans:
Jordan Millar - one for the future still got bags of time to be a quality keeper, injuries have hold him back to be our number one keeper.
Liam Smith - only if hearts let go of him, good player to have in the squad.
Johnathan Page - love to sign him up if released by pars.
Ola Ayelemo - been disappointed in Ola.

Upto Gary if he wants to play next season, Still think he could of done with an older head on dugout to Anderson.
