Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Really have to laugh at this so called "SINGING GROUP".....Turned up for the arbroath game and got behind the team but heard nothing from them since after all the hype they spoke about getting it all done...

We need you boys to encourage the team in the last 4 games especially with injuries & suspensions we have now!! Looks like we're down to bare bones again, thats the problem with such a small squad but Good Luck to the lads tomorrow!!

Albion Rovers supporters were very vocal from the off although they didn't sustain it. We seem to be a bit nervous about loudly supporting the team maybe because we are very rarely on top in a game but we shouldn't need to be. We seem to come alive when the games over and a result is in the bag.

Nothing to do with nerves mate.The problem is getting moaned at for wanting to make an atmosphere and get behind the team from the start of games...People moan that no singing at bayview then moan more when something is done about it and people get together to sing!!

I am a bit long in the tooth mate but you can sing and chant all you want for me. Good on you.
