Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Last day of the season

Well done to Gary Naysmith for taking us to the last game of the season and on the verge of the playoffs. I know we all had high hopes at the start of the season but at Christmas slipping out of the league was a possibility. IMO Gary has done much better and I applaud him for getting us within touching distance now.
Keep the faith and you never know he could be a Davie Clark in the making. Mon the Fife!

Re: Last day of the season

Wished more were of the same opinion as" Albert",take this for what you want but no team has been outstanding in the league and the only reason Albion won the league is because they ended up more points than rest.

Re: Last day of the season

em aye,all am trying to say is nae team has been a stand out.

Re: Last day of the season

Actually, I've just noticed - Montrose who finished bottom have got the least points of any team. Could this be the secret -amass as many points as you can and finish higher up the league? Now, if only we'd known that in August.

Re: Last day of the season

technically this means that 2nd had more points than 3rd and 3rd had more points than 4th and so on so forth. I always thought this theory was of mythical tale
