Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Arbroath picked up half a dozen players quite early on, Clyde and Stirling Albion have picked up quite a few as well. Now that it's the end of June let's wrestle with East Stirling and Montrose for the best of the rest?????????????

By the way does anybody believe in omens cos we kick off the league campaign on the 8th day of the 8th month with 8 players. Should we expect to win 8-0.

Am I being a bit negative?

No Hill and players like Gordon Smith and Jordyn Sheerin moving to championship, Cook and McAleer both signed for league One teams and I wonder if we don't miss out on Lavery & Josha watt both would be decent signings to improve the midfield that have been let go but we could signing scraps we certainly need a back-up keeper for Goodfellow, two full-backs a centre back as I don't see Campbell playing much games at the start so we need a Centre back to play alongside Pagey, wide midfielders and a striker can we recall riordan back give him a season or pre-season get the numbers up?

Still in June, pre-season training just started and the season is fucked already.

No it's not a record cos it's June this year and we're fucked for season 2016/17 as well.
