Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Jon McShane

Was wondering why he was at the game last night but not stripped - seems he's agreed a deal with Stenny.

Re: Jon McShane

After seeing him miss an open goal against Dunfermline on Saturday, all I can say is good riddance

Re: Jon McShane

The last of Lee Murray's costly signings go. Going by the return we got from him On the park I would say we done well to offload him.

No doubt frees up some cash for others to come in.

Re: Jon McShane

Thank god! Hes murder and a waste of a lot wages. Hopefully a couple of more players on the way

Re: Jon McShane

Gary has to bring in a couple of strikers. Going in to the season with only Fash & Kevin Smith would be crazy. Every team needs 4 strikers in their squad to cover injuries and loss of form. It also puts pressure on those starting games to perform

Re: Jon McShane

No great deal another player off the wage bill and put to good use rebuilding this team. Your right bayview person we need another striker as start of last season we had injuries and no much options upfront to compete alongside kev and fash. I would take riordan back but hopefully get another loanee striker like last season which would boost us unless Andy barrowman still avaliable to bring in.
