The youth academy is looking to create a memories box, the box is to be filled with items that may trigger a memory for an older person about football. The box will be taken along to homes and day centres etc with a group of young people where both generations discuss the items in the box and allows the older person to share their stories. The project has been a proven success among dementia patients and had brought smiles to both the young and old. The young people get a sense of respect for their elder generation too.
