Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Diabolical game today. There were a few chances which have got to be taken, especially by Fash who telegraphs where he is putting the ball when he is on a one on one situation, that's when he is not offside. It shows how desperately short we are up front.

The officials were outrageously bad today. Barry Cook ranks alongside Andrew Dallas, John Mckendrick as the worst around. No doubt more can be added to this list. Is the Division 2 the Arse end of football refereeing standards.

We have had one good game at home and the rest have been awful, does this mean beating Berwick was a fluke ?????

Might have helped if we kept the ball on the ground and used the width of the pitch rather than the left.

Thought we were decent in first half & should have scored, faded a bit in second half but expected Stirling to come at us!! Deserved red card for their No 15, hopefully win it on 3rd November!!

I've noticed stirling as a team nearly have a red card in every game there in but the red card to robertson that's his second red card against us, must have something against east fife and he was deserved his matching orders at the end of the game on saturday when stamping on O'Kane, shocking off the ball incident.
Got to admit stirling and berwick are the dirty's team in the league by far i've seen.
