Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

1 Win in 11

That taxi meter is ticking Gary

Re: 1 Win in 11

First half was awful but you can`t fault the effort in the second half. At the end of the day though it`s now one win in eleven and that is a shocking record, given how poor this league is.

Gary Naysmith should now admit that it isn`t working for him at East Fife and resign.

Re: 1 Win in 11

Bring in dick Campbell now we can't even beat Montrose some how it is going for us 1 win in a 11 is definitely no good enough

Dick Campbell had no wins in his last 11 league matches.

Re: 1 Win in 11

It looks like to me that we are now just accepting how rank rotten we have become. Yesterday was just another same old Saturday with the same level of performance we are now being accustomed to.
First half was terrible but we played better in the 2nd half. Fash was unlucky with his lob and there has been a lot of pressure on him and I certainly don`t think Naysmiths comments in the papers regarding Fash is going to help.
Montrose battled for everything and Hegarty and his staff were giving them all the help and guidance from the touchline, unlike Dougie Anderson who only unfolded his arms when he was shouting at the linesman and ref.

This sorry situation needs remedied sooner rather than later. The Board are fans as well and they cannot be happy with what they are seeing on the park.
