Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Unfortunately could not make protest today - but it appears the CLOWN reacted to form - he really is a stupid little man - how major shareholders can let a moron like him be chairman of our club is beyond me - wasteing club resources on fencing and bulldozers - (or was that the judicious use of council facilities?) - which I am sure ratepayers would not appreciate - offering players packed lunches? - no rapport whatsoever with supporters - and on and on and on - this imbecile needs to go.

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

''Unfortunatly not able to make protest today''

I'm pissed off with guys like you that never show up but are ''in support'' get off your fat arse and joint us. In short either put up or shut up.

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Hey anon, we're all on the same side so let's have less of the pointless abuse thank you. There are die-hard Fifers like myself who have supported this club for over 35 years, but I just happen to live 150 miles away and cannot make it up to Methil much for a variety of reasons these days. I wasn't there today either, but want rid of Broon as much as you or anyone else. Does that piss you off too ?

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Agreed.
I'm not travelling 70 miles to stand in the pishing rain with a placard. Does that make me less of a fan?
Naw.

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Well anon you are obviously another sad little boy with very little brain and no understanding of the realities of real life - cancer does not always allow you to do the things you want to - you are the type of supporter the club do not need.

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

great innit, east fife supporters wanting the same thing and then turning it into a petty squable over who was there, who wasn't etc. If Brown reads this he will be pissing himself laughing, cause as I've posted before, devide and conquer. We will get nowhere argueing with each other, so can I make a suggestion to anybody that wasn't there? If you weren't at the mound yesterday, why don't you write a letter to the EFM to keep the pressure up?

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Exactly!

The majority of fans want Brown out whether they were on the mound or not. Remember there are a fair few hundred who are boycotting home games all together. As I said in another post we should all be firing e-mails to EFM!

Yesterday was a success and we have to keep it up. You know Brown is going to use the media to attack us. Attack fire with fire!

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

You can email letters to the East Fife mail at

efmeditor@fifetoday.co.uk

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

I have wrote a letter.

Re: Brown the Clown behaving as expected

Is that bad grammar? Should it say written?
