Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

This is what broon is all about part 2

I heard today that broon had a go at Caroline our tanoy lady a couple of weeks ago,broon was INCHES away from her face screaming and shouting at her and why.......she was looking for her cordless microphone!
Caroline if you read this deck the git the next time you will go down in East Fife folklore!!!!!!
broon treats the volunteeers like shite down at Bayview after giving all their saturdays up to help the club broon doesnt even offer them a drink at the end of the day or maybe more importantly a thank you.

DERRICK BROWN YOU ARE A FUCKIN DISGRACE TO MAN KIND AND SHOULD BE KICKED OUT OF FOOTBALL FOR LIFE!!!
To Davie Marshall,I know you will be reading this for the love of East Fife do something to get rid of this idiot, you will have ALL of our backing.

This is the very sort ov thing that hopefully will remove Broon from his position.I remember Davie's letter in the EFM,explaining that we ,the fans,just don't realise what goes on behind the scenes.How hard Broon and the other directors work,to get the match to take place.I have NO idea,but its prob true that Broon works long hours,unpaid at that for East Fife.But on the other hand,his communication skills are nil.He's untrustworthy.He's deceatful,back stabber,treats others like pish,the list is endless.I have also talked to people,outside the footballing side ov things,bowls,work etc,and you no what?Not one good thing to say about him.He is def not a man for the post ov chairman ov a football club.Come'on board,if us, the fans can see this,why can't YOU.My anger is not with you,but with ONE MAN!!!!!!

Yes the long hours worked outside of the game by directors. Get a life, they are amply rewarded with blazers and ties,hospitality and free admission. Thier investmet in shares means the money doesn't dwindle, so basically they are parasites on a journey of 'freebies'home and away SFA rewards etc. Even I would cut the grass for that.

anyone who has been involved with any organising of football from a game of 5's to pub teams etc knows that there is a lot of stuff done behind the scenes, but you will also know that you do it for the love of the game or the club your involved with and not for any reward, this is the way it should be and this is the way it should stay. I am not 100% convinced Derrick Brown has this passion for East Fife, in fact I think its nearer 5% hence I do not believe he is the right person to take us forward and why I will not enter New Bayview again until he goes.
