Who the hell is doing the official web page now, If this is being done by a professional company, even if they are doing it for nothing they are not making a very good job of it (poor advertisment for their services). While the previous pages were infanetly better that the last effort the latest update is horrendous.

It is also interesting that the new design shows no sign of Willie Gray as a Director. Is he fed up of Derrick already and left ? Or is he going to be added when he takes over as Chairman ?

Seeing as W Gray has already taken it upon himself to contact one of our more sage like posters to outline his vision for EFFC in the Premier League, he may have already taken over as chairman.

Sorry Martin, I have to disagree with you, from a professional (and I'm not in this field) point of view whether you are providing a service free or paid it is terrible.
It is a terrible advertisment for your companies services, it's a terrible advertisment for East Fife Football Club when you consider that this it's probably the first place somebody (6 billion of us) would look for information on EFFC on the web.

Brian I am not saying the site is good I am saying the critical instead of positive tone is not helpful

I have started to design pages for the site,you are
all right,the ad for pinpoint and adamsmith suked,
that`s why i`ve taken it off,it looked ok on my
software b4 loading,didn`t look at it after up-loading

The banner took about 10 mins to do and i know it`s
not very good,but it`s breaking up the all white
effect of the page.That`s all i was trying to do....

i too made a wee effort at a website, as you can see from some of the info it was made yonks ago though, like the wee adverts?? just there as an illustration of course!!Enthusiasm wore off as lack of ambition became clear.

the recent changes to the offical web site have nothing to do with planetodd wed design, I know the guy who was doing it before fifer dov got involved, and i can tell you he is fucking hopping mad at these recent changes.

as i understand it fifer dov was supposed to come up with a working design before posting anything to the official site.

and as far as slagging of the guy before these shite updates happened goes he has also told me that the only person that was feeding him any info was the highly respected J Corstorphine who you all know so well. so how the fuck could he build a website that we could all enjoy eh ?????.

i for one was really enjoying the history section.

apparently, the cooncilor brought fifer dov onboard having described him as 'knowing about football and being able to build websites !!'

why dont you contact the guy through his website and see if he is prepared to speak to you guys or maybe even meet with some of you, im sure he would consider it if you were to ask.

When I put up the first post I had absolutely no idea that it was not Planetodd that did the update, it still carries their name at the bottom of the page, so I owe them a bit of any apology too, sorry.
Then MBlack comes on and I read it that as though he is the one doing it now, then Dov comes on and says it's him, typical EFFC mess, you dont give X amount of ppl access to electronic data because it sure as hell will get screwed eventualy.
As for posting showing some of the work (good or bad) that I can do, well I designed a COMPLETE web design (with input from JC) for EFFC and sent it the club over 18 months ago but the then webmaster, dismissed it with remarks like "you have used my photo's (Duh it' for you), don't like Java (bit difficult to a good web design without it) and that was after he said he was looking for help.
I'm itching to help, but as you say you have to have info/content to keep it interesting.

I called it .com as weas possibility that Zak was going to let the club use www.easfife.com as I think he is the current owner of that url.

Listen guys,this is all getting out of hand,i had a
meeting with the planetodd guy,a decent guy who
listens to what you say,the changes that were done
had nothing to do with him.I should have stated that
at the time.Didn`t think putting just a few silly
pics up would have that reaction from you guys.

It was all my fault,i was so keen to try some things
as well as work on stuff on my p.c. and it looked
out of sorts.I should have made more of the page
b4,updating it.The Planetodd guy did warn me about
putting bits and pieces up.

I didn`t think about asking for help at the time,when
i met the Planetodd webmaster,from you guys,but i took
a thought and realised the more input that`s on this
thing,the greater the outcome would be.

i hope he doesn`t mind me asking you guys,to me the
web site should have all the updates and info that us,
the fans,keep coming back to and want to know about.

I`ll e-mail the Planetodd webmaster and apologise to
him.

Is there any chance you could get rid of that lame badge that's plastered all over the stadium and websites.

bobby's right there about the badge, if this is in fact the badge that is on the shirts then the club will hold a vector copy which is scalable (almost) without limits.
