Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

AFTN Prediction Cup (Quarter Finals)

It's Cup time again!

Obviously not for East Fife but for the following 8 participants......

Rothes Fifer v Jeff

Eddie Fleming v Usfifer

Mike v Dumbarton Fifer

Jakey Joiner v GoF

RULES:

RULES:

No scorers required in this competition, just scorelines.

You will get 4 points for the correct result (home win, away win, draw). And 2 points for any correct score by either team.

If you are the only person in the round to correctly predict a scoreline, you will get 1 bonus point.

Whoever gets the highest score between the two/three participants, will go through to the 4th Round and the last 8.

In the event of a tie, the person with the most number of correct scorelines, in the head to head, will go through. If this does still not get a winner there will be a replay before the next round (watch the Forum for details).

If your opponent does not predict, you will automatically receive a bye into the last 8. If neither participants predict, the highest scoring loser(s) will progress.

Any postponed games will be deemed null and void for competition purposes.

And so, without further delay, the games to predict are as follows:

Gretna v St Mirren

Hamilton v Dundee

Falkirk v Hibernian

Hearts v Partick Thistle

Good luck to six of you!
