Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

FAO Caroline

Whats the chances of some Stevie Wonder getting belted out on the tannoy on saturday something like i just called to say i love you?

Re: FAO Caroline

Re: FAO Caroline

was that not lionel ritchie?

Re: FAO Caroline

Naw.

Re: FAO Caroline

How about playing Atmosphere by Russ Abbott that should put us all in the party mood!

Re: FAO Caroline

How about "Tell The Truth",by Derrick and the Dominoes (Hamilton and Mackay = Double Blanks)

Re: FAO Caroline

I'm sure my pal Eddie would agree that ''Stuck in the middle with you'' by Steelers Wheel would be most pleasing to listen to before the game. The classic line ''Clowns to the left of me jokers to the right''it could have almost been written for this very situation.

Re: FAO Caroline

Can someone make a disc up with all the songs on it and give it to Caroline on Saturday. She will most likly play it as she won't know what's on it. Funny as feck me thinks.
Ps Don't tell her what's on it then she will be oblivious to whats being played.

Re: FAO Caroline

How about "Down the Dustpipe"

Re: FAO Caroline

Missed a bit,
by Status Quo

Re: FAO Caroline

Ring of Fire and Echo Beach too.

Re: FAO Caroline

Let's have James Darren's " GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD " Should be appropriate for Brown the Clown.
Or Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's " GOODBYE-EE "

Re: FAO Caroline

Redemption Song (Bob Marley)

Oh Rankine and Twigg yes they robbed us
Sold us to a cunt named Brown
Many times he took us
To the bottomless pit
But my head it was made strong
By the memories of the Fife almighty
We moved forward with this generation
Tri-umphantly

Won't you help me sing
These songs of freedom
All I ever have
Redemption Song
Redemption Song
These songs of freedom
Redemption song

Re: FAO Caroline

how about Black Betty?

We can just change the lyrics to:

Whoa, Brown Betty
Yer man's a bam
Whoa, Brown Betty
Yer man's a bam

Re: FAO Caroline

FAO Sick parrot

Surely Ring of Fire would have been more suited to the now long departed Julian Danskin

Re: FAO Caroline

Hey GoF. ROFLMAO

Much respect. :-D

Re: FAO Caroline

How About:

Golden Brown,

Derrick Brown, he is a twat,
Starves the club, while he's getting fat
But we will fight, here on the mound
To get rid of that clown, called Derrick Brown

Or

come on over

Come on over to to our place,
HEY DEEK! We're having a party,
We'll be singing and protesting,
To rid East Fife of you
