Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

KTS FOR KIDS

The Young Fifers have been lucky enough to have 3 squads selected for the Daily Record football kit giveaway......so we are looking for a little support from the East Fife community .All you have to do to help is collect tokens which will be printed in your Record and Sunday Mail from March 11 and hand them into either the Club room at New Bayveiw on a match day or hand them directly to Nancy or one of the coaches.
Please do you best to get these tokens, see your family as well as your neighbors and hopefully we will be able to get our hands on some of the kit on offer.

Thanks in advance

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

I will collect these tokens from the record for you but there is no way i will be in the ground, if you can arrange for someone to collect them from me on the mound i will be only to happy to help the cause as i hope the rest of the fans on the mound will also save the tokens.

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

The same goes for me I will get as many as I can but collect them from me before or after the games on the mound DOWN WITH BROWN

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

same with me.

I'll put a news story about it on the site over the weekend too.

Do you know how long they'll be printing the tokens for?

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

Thanks for the replies.
Have spoken to Arron at Cyber Solutions in North St Leven and he said that he would act as a collection point as well if that makes it easier for anyone.

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

cool i'll get collecting when it starts

Re: KTS FOR KIDS

From the young fifers website

"Just to let you know that the Young Fifers have registered for the Kits for Kids promotion with the Daily Record and the Sunday Mail. If we collect a lot of vouchers out of the papers we will receive kits for our teams. So please ask your friends, relatives, neighbours or just anyone you know to collect the vouchers. There will be a voucher in the Daily Record and the Sunday Mail for the next eight weeks so start collecting now. You can either bring the vouchers along to any of the coaching sessions or we have collecting boxes in Mr Mechanics shop in Buckhaven, Murrays Newsagents in Buckhaven, the library in Wellesley Road, Methil, Simpsons Butchers in High Street, Leven or at Bayview Stadium. You can also hand your vouchers into Cyber Solutions in North St Leven"

get collecting
