Away From The Numbers
All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.
The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.
This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

I don't agree
In the last ten years or so at bayview how many good things have happened on the field for east fife?
How many managers have we been through...tested ones, new ones, experience, little experience....has it really made any difference? To be honest Jim was probably the most successful manager we've had in long time...fife cup, promotion....and that’s really it.
Which for this club to look at that and say he was the best we've had.... is pathetic!
I'm not posting to say Jim should of stayed either...I agree his time was certainly up...long ago in fact but nothing has been solved now that he's gone!
Ultimately who the blame falls to is the chairman...why??
Lack of initiative in getting the community and Glenrothes involved with East Fife!
Lack of investment by way of advertising! A website done right could bring in money for nothing!
Lack of ideas regarding ticket deals...say free child day or handing tickets out to local schools....anything to get them along and perhaps hooked on supporting our team!
Poor stadium entertainment! Programs are p*sh, could be much more information to keep the fans up to speed in them!
So many basic business ideas that have just NOT been tapped into...I mean it took just four minutes to think up all that and create solutions! I mean I know DB is a busy man 
but I’m sure he could of sat done one night with a cuppa and jotted a few of these things down!
My point is he is still the man who picks our next manager, has feck all money to give to him due to his poor misguidance of the club and who presently looks like he will still be there when that man gets fired!
East Fife need's a chairman with ideas! Not a man who's in it for the blazer!
If he indeed cared in any way about the CLUB then he should do the right thing and step down before he drags it's name through the mud anymore and drives away the entire support!
