Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

March

How did the march go? I was out in East Lothian, weather was grey but dry, hope it was good on the other side of the forth.

Wish I could have made it today.

Any pictures?

Re: March

Quite a lot of us got some good pics so hopefully, if I've ironed out my problems, there will be some up over the course of the weekend.

Re: March

Good march and good banter we even won what an afternoon

Re: March

I'm proud to be a Fifer.

That is all!

Re: March

Brilliant turnout for the march, thanks to the band, the butcher and the supporters. Well done everyone

Re: March

£100 fighting funds raised too!

Re: March

Fantastic day out with lots of good spirit.
I also met a few first class guys I did not know before
Well done Stevie and Matthew.

Re: March

Did you achieve what you were aiming for today with the march?.

Re: March

BNot yet but another nail in DB's coffin, so to speak.

Re: March

Was the march restricted in where it was allowed to go?.

Re: March

Stuck out here in Germany I can't wait to see photos. The stuff of revolutions !!! Really proud of the fans for showing a lot of backbone and fight.

Photaes/vids please....
:)

Re: March

An excellent march well done to the organisors, It had a real feel good atmosphere. Well done to the band, the police and the pieman and of course the real supporters The banter was good on the mound as well. Especially Methil's finest conducting the chicken hunt. What people got today was a sense of doing something for their club.
What did you get out your day Derrick besides universal loathing?

Re: March

Look out for Jim Corstorphine's photograph "Chicken with police escort".
It's a classic and sums up the day for me.
