Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Train to Berwick

Earlier on today I booked tickets from Dundee to Berwick on the trainline.com and the site suggested two singles trather than a return. Total cost £23.00.

BTW Stewart and Kerriann incase you're wondering - I am no longer having a guest that weekend!

Re: Train to Berwick

What's your point you old pie fancier you.

Re: Train to Berwick

The point is that the normal day return fare is £43.00 believe it or not!

And as usual I've buggered Stewart about by changing my mind about the burger train.

Re: Train to Berwick

Our return journey is £10.95 so your deal from Dundee is a good one too. The tickets are all taken now anyway, we filled yer shoes nae bother Eugene!

I wonder if we will get any pies provided?!

Re: Train to Berwick

Oh I see.

GNER?

Re: Train to Berwick

Yes it's GNER and I'm assured of an upgrade which includes a pie.

Re: Train to Berwick

What time?
Graeme is on the 9.55 from Aberdeen calling at Kirkcaldy and Edinburgh at 12.22.
So there you go, every opportunity to avoid us.

Re: Train to Berwick

Mine leaves Dundee at 11.06, (coach E 23A) so I assume it's the same one.

Tell Graeme to look out for a guy with a lean and hungry look, carrying a knife, fork and bottle of brown sauce.

Re: Train to Berwick

Lean look?? You've only missed out once on the pies Eugene!
