Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

The board of POMPOUS ASSES!

Re the board statement - 1) "The BORED would also hope to bring forward there ambitious plans for the future of the club over the coming months." - they have manged to guide the club to the depths of Scottish fottball during the past few seasons and suddenly they have a plan? - is that a good idea considering the obvious lack of intelligence among the lot of them.
2) "This month marks the sixth anniversary blah blah blah electricity blah blah blah" - get over yourselves its history - resign the lot of you and let people who are pro-active run the club - not you negative has beens.
3) "The bored have deliberatly chosen not to comment blah blah blah - again you are all so stupid you totally miss the point - Fact A - Collectively you have guided the club to its lowest point in history. Fact 2 - Over the past few seasons you allowed obvious weak team management to create this situation. Fact 3 - You alienated possible investment and sponsorship in the club by your behaviour.
Fact 4 - The supporters have been trying to tell about the previous facts over the past few seasons and have been ignored.
Fact 5 - You cannot make a comment of any intelligence on the present situation because you are all guilty of egotism, pomposity, arrogance, ignorance and self interest at the expense of East-Fife football club. The supporters have given you all a vote of no confidence so you know what is going to happen. Do the decent thing the lot of you and fall on the sword - there are few in the community or among the supporters who like or respect you - resign now - you are all on borrowed time.
