Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

EFFC Community Club - the Future...

Ok so it hasn't happened YET! Being the eternal optimist, I would like to think that our fight is a good one and will be over soon. Then we can all get back to supporting the team that is East fife and cheer them on to the 2nd division and beyond!

East Fife is OUR club and I would like to think that the fans can rally round after the fight is over, like they have done for the protest, to offer a bright, secure future for EFFC.

My question to you all is .....
What skills and services are you as an East Fife fan willing offer to the new regime when they finally take over?

Over to you!

Re: EFFC Community Club - the Future...

A couple of snippets from talks with brown:

Brown's idea of a community club is "one where the community use (and pay for) the services offered by the club. The community does not have a say in the running or decision making within the club. "

"East Fife is not YOUR club. It does not belong to the supporters. It belongs to the shareholders, and without their backing, the club would not be here today blah blah blah".

Re: EFFC Community Club - the Future...

Anyway, to answer your question, the first thing I would offer the new regime is my admission money.

Re: EFFC Community Club - the Future...

This is a good idea, why not collect the responses through email though?
