Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

BBC online picks up on story

Re: BBC online picks up on story

Not the best one i've seen, they make a few mistakes and leave out the juicy bits of Derricks statements.

Still, I suppose its publicity.

Re: BBC online picks up on story

Obviously provoked by the fantastic Scotsman article.

The club must be shitting themselves now.

If not as a matter of 'heads rolling' as such, but as a matter of pride at the very least. Hundreds of people can't be wrong and imagine telling your children/grandchildren that your only legacy in life was that you became a hate figure and laughing stock added to the fact that's all you'll be remembered for.

...and all because of pig-headedness you didn't do the decent thing and resign.

Can anyone imagine anything worse than being remembered as a hate figure for your short time on this planet? This is being documented and history will always say the general consensus was that you were a shit-stirring, devastatingly unpopular man.

Poor bastard.

Re: BBC online picks up on story

Very shoddy stuff from The BBC, they have got several things wrong and attributed things to The Trust which are not true.

More negative publicity on EFFC though because of one mans stubborness.

I guess we'll not see you in Berwick next week Derrick, probably got shopping in Glasgow or anywhere other than Berwick.

After missing Saturday's game does that still make you a bigger supporter than the rest of us?
