Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Just a thought

Just a thought here but has anyone contacted
Soccer AM about the Down wi Brown protests?

As Soccer AM usually give a bit of coverage to
the little teams i had the thought of a
UNIVERSALLY LOATHED T-Shirt being forwarded to them
with a bit of background into the protest??

Not sure if they'll broadcast it but if you don't
ask you don't get i suppose,

What does everyone think to this approach??

We could send one to everyone associated with sport
bob but it'll make no difference if the dick head
on front of them doesn't take notice and leave.

It's going back to the days of Baxter when he wouldn't
push for promotion because he would lose his seat on
the SFA commitee, Is this the same scenario here??

Although Jim Baxter had his faults,he was East Fife through and through.
His period as Chairman was heaven compared to what we have at present,where we have a Chairman who is hated more than a convicted Paedophile.

Jim Baxter Drove away more supporters then have
attended the last 5 home games. Granted he was a bit
better than Brown but what i'm asking is does brown
have the same views as Jim Baxter?? Is he keeping us
in the lowest tier to safeguard his position in the SFA as Jim Baxter did??
