Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Deeper in the brown stuff

UNIVERSALLY LOVED T-SHIRTS

Betty has run off some t-shirts for sale at Bayview before and after the Fife Cup game next week. They come in a natty puce colour with whiter than white lettering as befits a man of Derrick's standing among all right thinking people in Levenmouth. They come in three sizes, all with the message UNIVERSALLY LOVED under Derrick's picture on the front and BROWN NOT BLACK AND GOLD on the back.Small ideal for Davie, medium for Derrick and Betty, large for Kenny. She couldn't quite manage an XXL for Wullie.
AT THE END OF THE DAY these are expected to sell like hot cakes, so Brown supporters are advised to get in early to avoid disappointment. Betty will also take advance orders if you care to phone her. Home phone no available on S F A website.
Also noticed on Google words associated with brown, BROWN STUDY means someone who is aloof, indifferent (how true). Also BROWN OUT is a partial loss of electricity. Derrick did pay the bill though, didn't he? Not a lot of people know that, outside of the total Levenmouth population.

Not sure if we have one chunky enough, Eugene. If I get the XXL sorted for Wullie, I'll make it two. The quality is poor but we have to think of Derrick's pension, at the end of the day.

I'd like one. I'm already looking forward to next season and will be first in (admittedly a very small) line for my season ticket and will wear my tshirt with pride.

Small should be fine.

I may also want to buy one for my son. It'll be comforting for him as he doesn't have many friends.
