Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

FIFA against racism

The quarter finals of the world cup are dedicated to showing racism the red card. The captains from all the countries taking part are reading out appeals to help eradicate such despicable acts.

Now, who was it that didn't want SFA money going towards Show Racism the Red Card and was that person a right thinking person?

Re: FIFA against racism

Anyone wanting to show racism the red card would be like a nigger in a bolthole, I wouldn't tell that proposal to a darkie.

Re: FIFA against racism

At the end of the day, I have been a red card for 50 years. If you think you are a bigger red card than me, then I can assure you, you are not, YOU ARE NOT!

Re: FIFA against racism

Would calling someone "Weegie Scum" be classed as rasism. Because if it does there are many more supporters out there that are guilty of rasism. (you all know who you are)

Re: FIFA against racism

Since when were Glaswegians classified as a race

I know they're weird unlikeable fuckers but they were still Scottish the last time I saw any!

Re: FIFA against racism

"Would calling someone "Weegie Scum" be classed as rasism"

It wouldn't be very nice, but no.

Re: FIFA against racism

It's not just racism, if you actually listened to what was said instead of wetting yourselves about coming on here to mention it, you would have known that it was all forms of "discrimination" that FIFA were against. So calling someone "Weegie Scum" is discrimination as is "English bastard" or "Cowden Scum". It's a load of PC nonsense but let's get the facts right eh?

Re: FIFA against racism

Don't respond, it'll only encourage him...

Re: FIFA against racism

I think the heading of the campaign is 'Say No To Racism'.

That is all.
