Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Thought for the day

Can you imagine Brown's face as he reads the back page of the EFM today

Re: Thought for the day

Why would I imagine that

I need to sleep you know

Re: Thought for the day

No time for sleep woman, theres housework to be done!

Re: Thought for the day

And you've got your man's tea to make. You could spend the afternoon doing a few practise teas, coz come 6 o'clock, it's showtime!

Re: Thought for the day

And you'll have to make sure you've left enough time to make yourself pretty for him.

Re: Thought for the day

natural beauty needs no preperation time though Eugene

Re: Thought for the day

and failing that she can always borrow my "special" mask

Re: Thought for the day

For all who cannot read the EFM, what's on the back page ?

BTW, does the EFM have a web-site ? I can't find it.

Re: Thought for the day

If you go to www.fifeonline.co.uk and click on left hand top bar Local News you'll get a dropdown menu with East Fife Mail. Unfortunately there's always a bit of a delay before they update it.

Re: Thought for the day

I'm very sorry I haven't replied to you lovely gentlemen before now. I had beds to make, washing to sort and iron, cakes to bake then get my man's tea on before he returned from his jolly, sorry meeting in Aberdeen.

Mr GoF - I thank you for your lovely comments and I must politely refuse the offer of your mask - I will in fact, always refuse the offer of your mask!

To the rest of you chaps - I am flattered that you think I am obviously such a wonderful housewife.
