Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Supporters Club Meeting

A Supporters Club Meeting will be held on Wednesday 6th September at 7.30 pm in the lounge at Bayview. All welcome.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

On the agenda will be our desire to run a subsidized supporters' bus to all away games starting on Saturday 23rd September with our trip to Hampden.

Cost will be in the region of £3 for members and £8 for non members with concession members travelling free. These are only ideas at this stage.

What I am looking for here are suggestions on pick up points, cost etc and ,of course, the general interest in the scheme.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Dave

Cannot make the meeting but put me and Wilma down as regulars.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Dave put me down for all away games! at £3 return thats a bargain....from Devon

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Dave is there a bus to Montrose?

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Mike
There will be no bus to Montrose unfortunately. We only discussed the issue at the meeting last night and agreed to start with the trip to Hampden. The trip then should be free to members and £5 to non members(which would make them members).I had made enquiries about a bus to Montrose at the beginning of the week and it is almost certain we would have struggled to get one at that late stage due to the Air Show.
