Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Any comments on the current situation?.

Re: fao IGOR

I spoke to Igor after tea time today and he was in a pub in London very pissed off and angry at the current situation, hes probably legless now.

Re: fao IGOR

Jamkam

Spoke to Igor earlier and to see he was shattered is putting it mildly. He will be in Fife tomorrow I believe and at the meeting on Tuesday with any luck.

Re: fao IGOR

He should be, he backed going back and delaying the continuing the protest. One man stood alone ZAK. I think he is being proved correct. I have my own protest but that is to do with me and me alone. C`MON ZAK.

Re: fao IGOR

Jamkam,

I am as gutted as any East Fife fan and I will see you at the meeting.

Re: fao IGOR

Thanks for your comments. This no dig at you, just a general question to ask you. The individual person makes a decision but I do think a lot of people fell into the BROON STUFF very quickly and have been conned. I continue my personnel protest by staying away from the club, until broon is totally gone and sadly if this means to the end of the club so be it, that is my opinion and if you disagree then so be it.
I hope that what ever happens is soon and that the decision is that broon is booted but I do not think so.
GOOD LUCK in your decision/s.

Re: fao IGOR

Each supporter is entitled to do whatever they wish Jamkam, so I will never tell you otherwise. Lets be clear on one thing though, I get the feeling that some fans believe this could all have been avoided if we had stayed on the mound, this is simply not the case as numbers were depleting week by week, both into the ground and away altogether.

The position the fans are in now (although admittedly we are all shattered by this) will be one of immense power, every single person who follows this club is now about to witness the poison of Derrick Brown and they will now be forced to understand the very reasons why we began our campaign last year.

We are witnessing the beggining of the dismantling of the group of people that I believe were our ever best chance of lifting this title. Starting with the chairman, Willie Gray, through to the manager Dave Baikie and of course the players. But it doesn't stop there, I hear that every voulenteer at this club will not lift a finger today, lets see how the fat little toad responds to this.

Lastnight I was furious, today i'm ready to start again though, 103 years of East Fife will continue because we will fight for it and we are going to kick this little runts arse out of Bayview for good, enough is enough. Roll on Tuesday and lets get the ideas on the table.
