Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

New supporters club!

I have just launched the new Devon East Fife Supporters club, i have at present a few new members but we are also looking for more to join us exiles down in sunny Devon with a view to flying up for a few games this season,if any other Fifers are down this way e-mail me.
Plus points for the club are exclusive;
Cheap return airfare
Cheap booze(compared with down here that is!)
and a great day out!

We did ourselves hold a emergency meeting last night down the pub and voted in favour of a total boycott of home games until that toss pot db gets completely kicked out of EFFC

Re: New supporters club!

Talking about cheap airfares any advice on getting from here to St Mawes? I know it's in Cornwall but I think there are flights to the south west generally.

My son's working there and I fancy popping down before Christmas.

Re: New supporters club!

Eugene you can fly with flybe.com from Edinburgh to Newquay which is around 45 mins away from St Mawes

Re: New supporters club!

Ta.

I'm not sure if they fly throughout the year tho - someone suggested flights stop in Sept/Oct.

Re: New supporters club!

They do stop in sept,BA do a flight from Edinburgh but it goes via Gatwick to Newquay,or try a train, Virgin trains will take you to Truro then on to Falmouth, and catch the ferry accross.
Or dive your car down you lazy sod!
It will only take you 11/12 hours!
To many cones on the motorway Eugene!

Re: New supporters club!

Aah Eugene - what a trouble you're having getting Newquay. Sorry, Freudian slip, should read 'getting TO Newquay.'

Re: New supporters club!
