Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

FAO Jim Kamaris

Jim, you coming back now that Broon's oot !?!?!

Hope to see you soon.

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

I am loking at the possibility. It will not be the same as time and feelings have moved on. The feelings toward east fife are somewhat changed. Enjoying watching the results coming in, but have not missed being there. So,the point I have to look at is do I want to go back and become involved again?. I am off to UKRAINE v SCOTLAND[not missing this].

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

A true East Fife supporter would NEVER lose his feelings for the club,no matter what happened in the past.

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

I think that's understandable Jim..... maybe I can tempt you with these two titbits:

1) The footbal being played is some of the best I can remember - the 5-0 game was awesome!

2) We look serious contenders for Silverware - having watched East Fife for 20+ years, I've never seen them lift a trophy (Fife cup doesn't count!!!) - this could be the year!

Enjoy Ukraine

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

Puzzled, I used to agree with your comment, but now I can actually disagree. I used travel to home, away and pre season tours etc.. Sometimes I even arranged work away from home so that I could get to the games and get paid as well but that as all changed. I will think about.
Ukraine I will enjoy.

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

Jim, did you go to Lithuania?

Re: FAO Jim Kamaris

Pingpong, unfortunately no, not enough holiday dates.
Afew of my mates went and enjoyed. I have had the dates for ukraine booked for a while. I used too many days to go to the world cup in germany.
