Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Warriors 0 "Champions" 1

Good day out today, dunno much about the goal as it was the far end of the pitch.

Thought Doddsy was very commanding towards the end, came off his line very sharply a cpl of times to calm our nerves.

Must have been 150-200 EF fans there, good to see

View From The Other End...

The goal was a cracking move involving, Smith, Jabba and Gordon. Jabba crossed for Smartie to knock the ball home at the near post. Beautiful move.

Re: Warriors 0 "Champions" 1

That was my first game back in a Brown free atmosphere and what a difference, there's a real feel good factor amongst the fans and the team did superbly to dig out a victory today and keep us cruising at the top. Happy days

Re: Warriors 0 "Champions" 1

Bit of a quiet support today during the game, but the place exploded into noise at full time.
We were excellent in the first half but struggled for a long spell after the interval.
Well played Doddsey, commanded his area after one blip early in the second-half.
Let's get behind the boys from now on and cheer them on to the championship...

Re: Warriors 0 "Champions" 1

That fiver at 14-1 in July for us to win the league is starting to look like a good investment...

Re: Warriors 0 "Champions" 1

And good to see in the papers a balanced review of the game

Dave Baikie said it was a bit of backs to the wall. 2nd half we rode our luck a bit but thats the type of games we need to win. At least no complaint from McKeown.

To be honest, Would not have complained if it finished 1-1. But it didn't so !!!!
