Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Well Done the Under 19's!

Superb performance today from the Under 19's against Stirling Albion in the second round of the BP Youth Cup at Forthbank. We won 6-3 after twice going behind.
Really entertaining performance, well done lads!
Photos of all six goals (well, five goals and the celebrations from the other!) can be seen at:

Great condiitons for photography today - got some crackers.
Alex Blyth or someone else involved with the under 19's - can you give me the team line up so that I can put names to numbers? Thanks.

Re: Well Done the Under 19's!

Always good to see the 19s doing well and scoring goals, hopefully some of these guys will be able to make the step up to the first team in the next few years.

PS, good pics Jim

Re: Well Done the Under 19's!

Did you have to change your breeks before you went home. Half time target practice was entertaining.

Re: Well Done the Under 19's!

I was reminded today how pleasurable football can be when the tension is removed.Thank you 19's.

Re: Well Done the Under 19's!

The Ross County game is to be played on 12th November (two weeks on Sunday).
A bit far for me and my camera to travel, I fear.
Will the team travel up on the day or stay overnight?

Re: Well Done the Under 19's!
