Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Supporters Club Meeting

We will be holding our next meeting next Monday evening the 11th December. The meeting will probably start at 8pm as Dave Baikie will be joining us after training.See you all in the lounge and I will confirm start time later.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

At our home game against Stenhousemuir on 23rd December the SC intend to put on a few sandwiches and invite everyone to join us in the Lounge from 12 noon onwards for a Christmas get-together.Stenhousemuir fans will be invited to join us.

At half-time Santa will join us in the ground when he will give a gift to all the children at the game.

There is still a bit of planning to do for the day so the SC meeting on Monday next will start at 7.30pm.Your presence at the meeting and help on the 23rd will be appreciated.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Myself, Darrin and Drew from the London branch will be there on 23rd Dave, if there's gifts being handed out 3 points will do just fine

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Great to see the fans being acknowledged Dave. What a difference from this time last year when we were being treated with utter contempt...

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Can anyone give us exiles any news on the meeting ?????????

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Was the manager prepared to name any of his targets? Was Stevie Nicholas mentioned?

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Big Rab
Most of the meeting was taken up with discussions about our forthcoming events such as Santa on Saturday,Stars in their Eyes and our POTY Dance. The tickets for SitEs on February 10th will be on sale soon at £5.Our POTY Dance will be held on 21st April, after our last home game,in Buckhaven CC.All players ,managers and coaches will be receiving their invites in the near future. All we mere mortals will be asked to part with our hard earned cash, possibly £12.Joes Band will supply the music.

We were then joined by Dave Baikie who answered the assembled members questions.Igor,he suggested the positions he perhaps needed to strengthen as opposed to naming names.

A good meeting closed without naming a date for our next get together.

Someone suggested this just before DB arrived and wasn't discussed afterwards thus the "possibly £12".The cost will be decided when we next meet.

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

A last minute reminder to all fans about the Supporter Groups day tomorrow.Come and have a gerkin and get-together from 12 noon onwards in the Lounge.Bring your kids along to meet Santa at half-time.All help welcome.

Fifer4 Life tells me that all SC members names will be entered into a draw,to be made by Tom Courts. The winner will receive a signed East Fife football which was kindly donated by the Club

Re: Supporters Club Meeting

Aye, and there will also be a raffle for a Christmas Hamper, for all of those that turn up early in the bar.
