Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Rumour has it that I am getting a Xmas card from you and yer daughter Eugene?

If it's one of the F*fe ones banded about AFTN then you can seriously stick it up your Jackson 5.

I will come and do a poo in your letter box if this is the case.

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Now that's not really the Christmas spirit is it?

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

I thought you would be happy Jonathan, given that you could sell it on e bay for a tidy sum.

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Do I get one too Clarkie? It's awfy lonely doon here

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

I'll make sure it's a Xmas poo. Better?

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Did you mean to write "Christmas pud"?

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

It will be the only xmas card he gets

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Eugene.

Got the card last night at the pub quiz.

Pub ran out of logs for the fire at 11:14pm

Kept the fire going for an extra 23 seconds.

Braw.

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

p.s. Thanks for my wee pressie too.

Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan - Ballad of the Broken Seas.

How did you know?

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

My opinion of you has risen highly! The album is superb, didn't know much about Campbell before I got that record, but Lanegan has been my hero for a good few years!

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Shucks...

Re: Xmas Card From The Clarke Family

Indeed an excellent album. Isobel Campbell is usually round my house a few nights a week. At least in my thoughts anyway.
