Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Hospitality

I'd just like to thank everyone at Bayview for the excellent hospitality yesterday, it was a shame we couldn't get a win to top it off but there is a real feel good factor around the place and hopefully we can get more people through the gates to enjoy it. Maybe being on the TV will help, though if they broadcast Clarkie and myself trying to sing we might end up halfing our gates as opposed to doubling them

Good to see you all yesterday, I just wish I could come up more often. Things are really looking good and its all happened in such a short space of time.

Re: Hospitality

You just beat me to it, igor.
A lot of work must have gone into organising the buffet and the half-time visit by Santa. Well done to everyone involved.
I must say, too, that Peter was just about the most convincing Santa I've ever seen. You'd almost think he was the real thing!
I've uploaded some photos of the event to:

Re: Hospitality

can i also add my thanks to everybody involved in yesterdays hospitality. There has been a lot of negativity in the past but hopefully that is ewhere it will remain - in the past. Off the field everything seems to be coming together now.

Re: Hospitality

Jim, you caught me just as I was being asked why I came to the football in my pijamas by the Stenhousemuir boys

Re: Hospitality
