Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

I was in your shop today for a wireless router for my new PC and the assistant said that I would need a PCI card for my old one to network them together.
He said you might get the telewest routers in tomorrow and I was going to come down and get one along with the PCI card, does the price he stated for the card include you fitting it or do I do it myself? just want to know so I can bring the tower with me.

the price does not normally include fitting but if the card is bought with the router we would fit it free, presuming the assistant was doing his job right
is it wirless pci card you need or hard wired?

on a seco0nd note we are not getting any new stock delivered until after the holidays. as the supplier is shut tommorow (i was supposed to collect from him though)

My Dell pc is about 4 years old & is running like a bag o shite! Put it down to all the dodgy downloads thatt the kids have done. How much would it cost for you to have a look at it & do the needful? Could bring down to the shop rather than a home visit.

I was supposed to goto the suppliers for the wireless stuff but they informed me last nite it was out of stock, so appologies for that.
