It was a disgrace today, the seats in the away end were filthy, every fan today had to wipe off months of DIRT off them with scarve, gloves hankies etc. We pay £9 to see sh*t on the park, and are expected to sit on it as well. GET A GRIP THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WELFARE OF THE FANS.

Totally agree. My son sat on a seat unaware that it was covered in remnants from a previous games chicken tikka pie.
For the seats not to have been cleaned prior to todays game is unacceptable.

Maybe the club should use Richie to clean the seats as he does little else to justify his wage.

Of course if there was a Trust man on the board, at least the fans would have an official elected rep through whom such grievances could be addressed, rather than relying on this site.

How many times Moley. You have been told when the Trust expect to have someone on the board and I don't feel the need to repeat the answer you were given. The Trust board respect and accept the time frame given by the Club. We have no reason to doubt them as so far they have been honest and up front with us.

I fully expect you to come back with some words of wisdom about how we are being led up the garden path etc but tbh, I don't really care.

There is a lot of anger in this thread and probably quite rightly so. The team did not perform as well as they should have and as paying customers everyone has the right to be angry at that. What I do not think is fair is being angry at the volunteers that prepare the stadium. They do as much as they can and for no other reward other than to help the club.

The seats being dirty is something that we can all help with. Mike, I will help you clean the seats on saturday as well. Dave, see you tomorrow night at the Supporters Club meeting.

The club knew weeks ago that the away end would be used this week, Plenty of time. At Raith the youngsters in the inder 19,s clean the seats, what happened to youngsters serving their time at clubs.

Would anyone (board member, trust rep, fan, or club employee) have preempted the dirty seats - if they had, I'm sure it would have been dealt with. Now that the problem has been brought to the club's attention, I doubt it'll happen again. Case closed.
