Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

I always knew that there were c*nts like you who used the protest as a bit of fun and were not interested in the real cause. Its written all over you when you hark back to a year ago in a triumphlist sort of way. It wouldn't surprise me if you are one of those tossers who's calling for the managers head now, it must really piss you off that the club has turned full circle in the last year.

I can also hark back to a year ago and quote Little and Large- DISCUSS

Someone remembers the dark days and you slag him off. This is not what we were fighting for. However he looks at it we should be grateful we accomplished our primary objective and rejoice in that instead of using it to stir up unnecessary troubles.

We will need to stick together as there is still a way to go to safeguard our club.

I wonder if Igor would have put up such a link, I think not. People that make a difference sit back with a quiet sense of satisfaction not shout about it from the highest yardarm.

We should never forget but we dont have to blow about it

!!!!!!!!!!! - am I missing something here? How is he a c**t for pointing out to the readers of the forum what was happening one year ago and how is he portraying what went on as fun?

I am glad you did this ex-moundee as it is a stark reminder of how much has changed and the fact that if no action was taken the blog-spot could have had totally different content i.e. RIP East Fife. Many thanks.
