Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

FAO: The Players

You guys are good enough to win this league. You have the skill; you have the ability; and you have the support of the fans.

You can turn this around. Come April you CAN be champions - DO YOU WANT IT ????

Re: FAO: The Players

You're right 1-10 they do have the skill, ability and support of the fans but I have my doubts as to the desire

Re: FAO: The Players

I think they have the desire, the look of disappointment on their faces on Saturday said it all. I was as down as everyone else after the game, but its Monday now and time to move on and I still believe in this team and the manager.

Could be wrong of course but (I think I might have been once before) but I still think we'll get promoted.
(Im such a fool)

Re: FAO: The Players

I think the players are good enough but I wonder at times about Baikies tactical knowledge. Why did he not shut up shop when Montrose pulled their first goal back ? Surely away from home 3-1 up you change to 5-4-1 and try to hit on the break rather than continuing with 4-4-2.
Have heard that training is not that great - Junior standard of quality and preparation.
