Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Here's one for all the Raith fans on here...

If you could choose between The Townsters being relegated this season or The F*fe not getting promoted this season what would you choose?

Now that is one to think about. I'll have to have a wee think about this one.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Eh..... Jonathan son? Yer on the wrang site pal! It cannae possibly give you a true reflection of linolicker fans response to the question,eh?

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Fatty,yer getting boring now.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Sorry Len.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

I'm not surprised Jonathan has found himself on this site by mistake as I've been present at some of his efforts to navigate between Fife and Hampden - sometimes for days on end!

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Jonathan, if you think i come on to this forum to talk about stuff like that the you are seriously right.
I would go for Dunfermline to come down.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Ha ha!

I am frikkin struggling here...

Hmmm. Need more time.

I'll be really angry with myself if I don't choose the F*fe, but the thought of Dunfy being in major trouble is tempting...

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Does this guy not take a hint? IT'S AN EAST FIFE ,NOT ONE FOR WRAITH MUPPETS TO ANSWER 'MY DAD IS BETTER THAN YOUR DAD' QUESTIONS.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

sniff...

well I know when I am not wanted. come on Levenmouth and RR lets move on to pastures new...

they'll miss us though...

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

Right!!!

I have finally decided that I would prefer if the F*fe stayed down this season over Dunfy getting relegated.

Any Raith fans agree?

Having looked at some of the papers last Sunday when EF played ES ,you (we) will not have to worry to much as they described EF win as unjust. Now if you do not beat the worst team in Scotland by a cricket score then what chance do you have in the Play offs.
I am going now to be greedy and want Dunf to come down as i think there is more chance of us going up than EF being in div 2 next year.
However if we were to stay down, i would gladly have EF in division two as then we would have a local game and 12 comfy points to start with.
I do see a problem tho would EF have to change their home games to Cowdens new Stadium to meet our Support as i would hold 1000 more than mefill.

R*AITHR*VERS1 and J*nath*n -
Would you pair not be better to swap e-mail addresses?
Anyway, here's a poser for the East Fife fans.
Which of the aforementioned pair would you most like to put in medieval stocks and pelt with rotten tomatoes?
Aye .... it's a really difficult one that!
Personally I'd like to invest in two sets of stocks.

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

In these modern times I do not feel that the stocks is the answer although I agree in investing in both. I suggest an electric chair would be more up to date

Re: Dunf*rmline v E*st F*fe

RR1. A bit disappointed in your answer. Each to their own, I suppose.

Regarding big E*st F*fe matches... Do they not play matches that could get a crowd over 2000 at Stark's Park? No need to move along to Cowdengelly.
