Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

God like figure or pantomine villain? Discuss...

Re: Claude Anelka

I thought you wanted rid of us?

Carte blanche for us Rovers boys now I'm afraid.

Re: Claude Anelka

Thought that seeing that you had infested the site, I might as well give you something to talk about other than the boring drivel about 'we won a cup and you are all shite'...

Re: Claude Anelka

Well, we did win a cup. It's not as if you F*fe fans keep your cup wins to yourselves?

The BBC show was flippin amazing. End of.

As for saying you guys are shite... Have you read the comments from the F*fe fans on here about how your team is doing?

Re: Claude Anelka

Claude Anelka eventually managed to galvanise the R*ith fans, without him I doubt they would have had the balls to try and partially buy the club.

Re: Claude Anelka

Thing is did he get them singing ! Has anyone ever got them singing. Apart from Jimmy tickle that is mind you from what I remember of the agony of that episode is the only time they sang, was when they got all the birds out of Jackie O's and chucked blue and white scarfs on them and made them wander around Kirk***y following that tin can they won.

Re: Claude Anelka

Jimmy Nicholl had them singing as well. One of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure to meet (on more than one occasion, may I add!).
It's a shame the fickle R*ith support turned against him during his second spell at St*rk's Park.
In the end they couldn't wait to see the back of the guy who gave them their only major trophy win!

Re: Claude Anelka

Jim Costorphine IS the new friend of the stars......Move over Zak!

Re: Claude Anelka

Most 'girls' at slacky jackie's would have done anything for a vodka and coke round about that time...

Re: Claude Anelka

Nicholl deserved every bit of stick he got in his second spell. Between the overinflated salary he and his twat of an assistant got paid and the hundreds of thousands of pounds sqaundered on our playing squad, he put us in the financial mess we are still trying to get out of.

Re: Claude Anelka

Stop boring us with the internal politics of lino land, we're laughing at you anyway we don't need any more ammunition you numbskull

Re: Claude Anelka

You're laughing at us??

Re: Claude Anelka

yep, especially with all your illusions of grandeaur...

Re: Claude Anelka

I think you'll find it's delusions

Re: Claude Anelka

was more thinking about the TV programme...
