Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

U-19s on Wednesday

Our U19s will play Clyde under the lights at Bayview on Wednesday evening, kick off 7.30pm.

If you cannot make that game then you will have a second chance to see them on Sunday, again at Bayview, against Hamilton Accies.Kick off 2pm.

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

Have the U19s got any away games against any teams from Lanarkshire or Glasgow coming up?

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

The Clyde and Hamilton games are the last two league games I believe. There may be a cup competition though.

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

Ok,thanks Dave.
Could you let me no if there is any games in that area?
Cheers in advance

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

how are the 19s doing

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

they r in ther best form all season!

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

are they any good?

Re: U-19s on Wednesday

They have some promising young players who show grit and determination. Two nil down to Raith U19 on Sunday, they pulled it back to 2-2 with goals from Sheerin and Lava. Then Raith scored what looked like a winner, only for East Fife to equalise again in the dying seconds through Cargill.
It would be unfair to praise any particular player as they all give 100%, but Luke Lava's headed goal from Scott Bissett's cross for the first equaliser was a delight to watch.
