Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Please,please,please

Could we please have lots of singing tomorrow?

Re: Please,please,please

Agree

Re: Please,please,please

I agree that there should be more singing, not only at the Albion game but at all games. The thing that I find strange is that we have two distinct factions trying to out-sing one another and not one choir, which is good enough for most teams. If you take last weeks game for example we had two distinct choirs, on the few occassions that we did get together the sound increased ten fold.

So fur f**ks sake lets sing as one!

Re: Please,please,please

Please make it decent singing if you have to sing at all - the Berwick fans last week were bloody terrible despite never shutting up for a second!

Re: Please,please,please

Lets face it Bayview doesnt lend itself to singing, its like a sponge soaking up the enthusiasum of the fans. When we are at away games we're as noisy as anyone but at home we sit on our hands waiting for someone else to start up the singing.

If we had a wee bit terracing across from the stand I think this would help create an atmosphere but thats expensive and with only a few hundred turning up each week its not going to happen. So in the mean time its back to sitting quietly waiting for some other idiot to start singing before I join in.

Re: Please,please,please

Do you do requests? if so can we had Do a deer

Re: Please,please,please

Barry,i noticed that last week as well.It seems to me that we now have 2 groups trying to outdo one another.
Why dont they join as one

Re: Please,please,please
