Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Terrible performance by a terrible team. enough said. credit to albion who pretty much played the better football today.

That was absolutely garbage today.Only 2 players worth a mention were Young and O`Reilly.The rest didnt look interested.
Again Baikie leaves it so late before he changes things.It was obvious things weren`t working so why bloody wait.
Once again a Doyle mistake (similar to the Berwick game) cost us.Am I alone in thinking that Smith is a better right back.
Tom Courts didn`t look fit and again picked up a booking.
Dodds was badly at fault for the 3rd goal.
Gibson once again offered very,very little and Gordon is a better choice.

Play like that again and we will be guibbed in the play offs!

Geeze, what chance do we have to get through the playoffs if we play like that.. 90% of the team were terrible, no passion, no interest, no tactics, no clue, no vision! = no chance!! Disgraceful performace - that about sums it up! - Still cannae beleive Blackadder never got subbed he was AWFUL - the worst!

It was a poor performance but much rather play like that now than in the play-offs.

We didn't seem up for it today maybe down to the fact that we are already secured the play-offs, we lacked any fight and Albion deserved their win.

Some of our supporters are a disgrace though, the usual moaners infront of me were screaming for McBride to get taken off and bring Smith on. When Smith comes on they moan at him. Why even come to games?

It was a bad day but no point in getting on their backs we can still get out of this league. Lets get behind the team.

Bring on the play-offs!!

After a 7 hour non stop drive from the west country i had to witness the garbage which was on offer today totally unexceptable!
Lets hope for a result next week..........

Mind you we were crap today. Can't see us going up and despite everything will look foward to the derby matches next season (pains me to say it but I've got a nasty feeling you lot will come up).
