Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Final

Leaving for India tomorrow morning and will miss the final ties. I would like to wish the team and supporters all the best for the next 2 games.

I would also like to thank the Dave Baikie, The Board and backroom staff for giving us a great season and a team worth following home and away this season. A special thanks to Wullie Gray for sticking with us and giving us credibility. Not forgetting Mr East Fife Dave Marshall.

It's been a long time since we have had a bit of optimism regarding the clubs future. Now , it seems we have a plan and 1st Division football is no longer outwith our reach.

My heart is with The Fife This week. C'mon guys , You can do it.

Brilliant message Fifeyboab. Last must win game, we started a thread that was read out to the players. Is it worth doing again, to let everyone at the Club know just how much this means and how much the Team's efforts have been appreciated this year?

I leave at 04:00 and should be sleeping. Can't sleep. When i arrive in hotel at Midnite [india time] it will be kick off time here. Predict a high phone bill. C'MON THE FIFE.
